Rini Mannankara

Rini Mannankara is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, she joined the firm in September 2025 and serves as a member of its Defense Base Act practice group. Prior to entering private practice, she gained exposure in roles across a variety of environments, namely as a legislative aide during the 87th Legislative Session of the Texas Senate and as a law clerk for the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation.

As an undergraduate, Rini Earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Anthropology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. In 2025, she graduated with her Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While in school, she was honored with a CALI Award for Insurance Law and won LSU Law’s Flory Mock Trial in Fall 2024.

Rini is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. When away from her work, she enjoys traveling, practicing Lagree and representing Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
