Samantha Kaplan’s work ethic sets her apart. She is dedicated to providing an unparalleled quality of service and responsiveness in order to protect her clients from unnecessary financial penalties. Her primary concern is making sure they get the expertise and assistance they need to emerge on the other side with a satisfactory outcome.

With a primary focus on Defense Base Act cases, Samantha is able to use her past knowledge and experience to ensure her clients have the best defense possible. A background in medical malpractice defense taught her how beneficial her services as an attorney could be to those needing to mount a defense against claims that could be devastating to their livelihood.

Samantha graduated magna cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University, and secured her Juris Doctorate in 2016 from UIC John Marshall Law School. During law school, Samantha served as an extern to Judge Michael R. Panter (Ret.) in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. She acted as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for minors in guardianship disputes and was a law clerk at a civil litigation law firm for three years.

Samantha is experienced in a wide variety of civil litigation matters ranging from defending corporations from discrimination claims in administrative, state and federal forums to defending not-for-profits from claims involving injury, sexual abuse and wrongful death.
