Sara Memi

Sara Memi is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice team. A Houston native, she previously interned for a judge in Harris County, also spending time interning in civil defense litigation with the county. Before joining the firm in November 2024, she worked as a law clerk in general civil litigation.

Sara stayed close to home in her academic career, first earning a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston in 2017. Following graduation, she began her professional life in wine sales. After breaking into the legal career as a paralegal, she decided to change course and pursue the law, ultimately earning her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2024.

Sara is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. A first-generation attorney, she harbors deep pride in her work on both a professional and a personal level.
