Sarah Clinton Jones is a partner in the firm’s Houston office. A trial lawyer with over 20 years of courtroom trial experience, she also maintains a labor and employment subspecialty, which includes advising clients on a wide range of compliance issues in addition to providing input regarding company handbooks and other training materials. Sarah’s clients range from Fortune 100 and 500 companies on a national level, to privately owned business local to the Houston area.

As first chair or solo trial counsel, Sarah has tried a wide range of lawsuits to verdict, from catastrophic injury matters to employment disputes. She has gained the respect of opposing counsel as an advocate in the courtroom and also as a trustworthy negotiator. Her reputation in and out of court has provided the platform to attract clients on a national scale. Consequently, she acts as outside national counsel for several companies on the east and west coasts, monitoring litigation and stepping in as trial counsel when necessary.

Sarah is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas as well as all state and federal district courts in Texas. She has three daughters and spends much of her free time at sporting and cheer events. One of her daughters was born with DDX3X Syndrome and Sarah has become a passionate advocate for her and others with this condition. She is a member of the Genetics Auxiliary Board at Texas Children’s Hospital and often consults with the DDX3X Foundation on various legal issues.
