Shannon Burr

With nearly 20 years of experience, Shannon Burr handles general litigation, such as transportation and construction cases as well as Longshore and Defense Base Act matters for SBSB Eastham. As a child, Shannon’s father worked in the oil and gas industry and she spent her youth living overseas in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, where she gained an interest in some of the areas she’d be working in years later. Prior to attending law school, Shannon worked for a construction company and enjoyed visiting various jobsites and learning about the industry. The diverse nature of her work is one of the primary reasons she built a general litigation practice.

Shannon is experienced in both trial and mediation. She always lets her clients know that, as their representative, she will be their fiercest advocate.

Shannon is a graduate of Tulane University Law School and has Certificate of Concentration in Admiralty Law. Outside the office, she enjoys taking advantage of her proximity to the coast by boating and fishing.
