When taking on a case, Tom Faragoi works to understand the pertinent issues from all angles. What argument is the other side making? What defense can be prepared to better serve his client’s interests? Having represented U.S. Army Soldiers and Veterans for 12 years in disability matters, he understands the concerns, the issues, and most importantly, the questions his clients are going to have to answer.
Tom is a member of SBSB Eastham’s Defense Base Act practice. Before becoming an attorney, he spent 10 years as a Police Officer with the Chicago Police Department. There, he received extensive training in criminal investigations, as well as conducting interviews and interrogations. When working with clients, this experience allows him to cut to the heart of the matter, making the most of their time and ensuring he’s conveying to them the most important information. Those he represents know Tom is never less than honest with them and if he ever finds a legal strategy to be unworkable, he’ll say so.
In addition, Tom is a Veteran and served as a Captain with the United States Army JAG Corps. He has an immaculate attention to detail and strong desire to not only finish what he starts but to make sure the job is done right. He’s a hard worker and passionate advocate.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, swimming, biking, reading, and watching historical documentaries.
