Tionna Taite

Tionna Taite is an associate in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. Since joining the firm’s bench in November 2025, she has assisted in handling cases arising under the Defense Base Act. Her work is marked by a strong passion for advocacy in all things, an attribute that manifested itself in her founding Nineteen Fifty-Six, the first Black student-led magazine at the University of Alabama.

As an undergraduate, Tionna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2022. She subsequently attended the university’s law school and graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2025. While in law school, she contributed her voice as a senior editor for the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review and as the creator of Legally Blessed.

Tionna is admitted to the Alabama State Bar Association. When away from her practice, she indulges her passion for the arts, running and traveling.
