P: 945.468.2389

Tom Jacks is the Managing Partner of SBSB Eastham’s Dallas office. A trial attorney with experience representing corporations in high-exposure litigation, his expertise spans a diverse landscape of legal areas, from defending against claims of wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, and large property damage to navigating the complexities of construction defect disputes, and product liability recalls. Whether it’s commercial and consumer products, oilfield accidents, premises liability, interstate transportation issues, dram shop liability, or construction negligence, Tom possesses the strategic acumen and courtroom prowess to build robust defenses and secure the most favorable outcomes for his clients.

Tom’s experience and dedication extend beyond the courtroom. He actively engages in arbitrations for construction defect disputes, advocating for contractors and ensuring fair resolution. In recent years, he managed thousands of nationwide product liability recall claims pending in multi-district litigation in New York and state courts throughout the country.

Tom is an AV-rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and has been consistently recognized by Texas Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America. Despite his busy work schedule, he remains very active in numerous organizations. Whether it’s serving on various committees with DRI or coaching at his local YMCA, Tom maintains the same enthusiastic approach to all activities both inside and outside the courtroom.

When he takes a break from the law, Tom shifts his competitive spirit to sports – particularly baseball, which he played in college before coaching at the high school and college levels before attending law school.
