Houston firm ranked on Leopard Law Firm Index for first time
Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham PLLC (SBSB Eastham) has been named as a top-performing law firm in the 2025 Leopard Law Firm Index.
The index, a real-time ranking system that reviews law firms for profitability, viability, growth and potential opportunity, ranked SBSB Eastham in the top 200.
“We are happy to earn this recognition,” said SBSB Eastham managing partner John Schouest. “This is a wonderful way potential clients can learn more about our firm, what our team can offer them and the many reasons they can count on us when they need representation.”
The Leopard Law Firm Index uses hard data to determine the health of a law firm. Updated twice weekly, the data it uses includes:
- Number of partner promotions
- Increases or decreases in revenue per lawyer over five years
- Relative success in lateral recruiting and general retention
- Success in recruiting and retaining entry-level attorneys
- Percentage of women partners
- Average attorney tenure
This recognition is one of several reasons 2025 is proving to be another monumental year for SBSB Eastham, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. In February, the firm opened an office in Galveston, its fourth office in Texas and its eighth nationally. It was also named among the largest law firms in Houston by the Houston Business Journal.
