Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea & BenMaier PLLC has been featured in Texas Lawyer on the announcement of the firm’s new Corpus Christi office. The article, “Houston’s Schouest Bamdas Opens Up Shop in Corpus Christi” (subscription required), discusses SBSB Eastham’s intent to build on its existing maritime and admiralty client base in the Corpus Christi region.
“The port of Corpus Christi has increased their tonnage and just their activity to such a level that unfortunately the number of legal claims that come up have increased. It just made sense to go ahead and expand now,” SBSB Eastham Managing Partner John Schouest told Texas Lawyer.
SBSB Eastham hired maritime litigation lawyer Carra Miller to lead the firm’s sixth office. In the article, Mr. Schouest said lawyers at the firm have known Miller for a while and are “very excited about hiring her, and about opportunities in the Corpus Christi region.”
