Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham PLLC (SBSB Eastham) is pleased to announce that partners Carra Miller and Craig Stocker have been named to the 2024 list of Texas Rising Stars, an award which honors the top 2.5 percent of the state’s top young attorneys.

Ms. Miller, is marking her third year on the Texas Rising Stars list. She was recognized for transportation/maritime work, which includes representing clients in commercial disputes, vessel collisions, and personal injury and death cases.
Mr. Stocker, an eight-year Texas Rising Stars honoree, received another nod in this year’s edition for his civil litigation practice. The litigator works out of SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. He focuses his practice on defending claims related to the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, The Defense Base Act, and general property and casualty liability.
Super Lawyers conducts a rigorous selection process to select honorees, employing peer nominations and attorney-led research by the Super Lawyers division of Thomson Reuters. To be considered, a lawyer must be under the age of 40 or have been practicing for less than 10 years.
